Just As I Promised……

Moving on through the week…

I said yesterday that I’ve been working on some ceramic coasters–even promised pictures!!  So, here they are:

These are for Cara and Lindsay–they tend to like “jungle-theme” things, so I thought these would be perfect for them.

These are for a friend who was a nurse in the military.  She is very patriotic, and I thought she would like these.

Just started these last night–the polyurethane hasn’t been applied yet–not quite complete–but, I liked the design a lot– a kind of 70’s theme.  I’ll be able to finish these tonight.

Cara’s dog, Nika, has been with me the past two days.  She gets a little stressed with 3 adults, a baby and a cat living with her.  Sometimes she just needs to come to my home and get a little R and R:

And, last–but certainly not least–here is a picture of a tree that borders my deck–taken on one of the few beautiful and not rainy days that we’ve had lately:

The rains have driven all the blooms onto the ground, the deck, my car–but it was spectacular when it was in full flower.

I’ve been asking God for “a word”–praying that He will replace some negative thought I have about myself with “a word”–then finding a Bible verse that I write down, carry with me, pray and meditate on.

I just started this last week….went to bed praying about this and woke up very early in the morning.  The word “cherished” came immediately to my mind.  So, I wrote and prayed and meditated on this word–what it truly means to be cherished by God.

I know what this week’s word and verse are already–came to me on Sunday evening….but, you’ll have to stop back tomorrow to discover the word, verse, and my thoughts about it.

Have a wonderful day!!

Beth
