My kids and granddaughter came to my house for Mother’s Day….hard to believe that this time two years ago there were 4 adults, 2 cats and a dog living in my home….now, I am here alone.
Cara, Ryan, Lindsay and Lydia are sharing the renting of a home which seems to be going well for them. They struggle from time to time financially, and I do pray for an easing of their financial situation. But, Lydia is thriving, and which is more important in our lives…..money or the values placed upon this little one?
We had a wonderful time together–no disagreements for the 4th time!! Salad, lasagna(made by Lindsay who is a better cook than I am!), crusty bread and butter, ice cream for dessert……who could ask for more than this? Family and good food together!!
When my house was injured (nice way to put this), Josh replaced my front window with a larger window. Lydia loves this window–watches outside for birds, cars, anything that happens to go by–
And the windowsill is big enough for her to sit on:
We had a good time playing the piano together:
I think we have a pianist in the making here!!
All in all–a good day!!
I’m only working a portion of the day today–eye doctor appointment for some problems I’ve been having lately–more about this tomorrow when I, myself, know more info!
Have a wonderful day!!
