Much To Do….

I spent some time outside yesterday after work……boy, is there a lot of work to do!!

My front sidewalk is brick….all kinds of weeds coming up through the cracks.  Now, I’m thinking that if I get some sort of weed killer–like Round Up–that I can spray through the cracks–get rid of all these pesky things–and then lay sand and sweep, sweep, sweep this through the cracks that this will look like grout and the weeds won’t be able to pop through so easily.  Has anyone else had this problem and what was your solution?  I really don’t want to have to take the whole sidewalk up and start afresh….

Then, there is the deck…..

I still have left over building supplies sitting out there.  These will be moved to the trash tomorrow evening….along with a fountain that someone gave me that no longer works.  The whole deck needs powerwashed.  Josh’s Dad is supposed to come and replace the railing (which is getting a little wobbly) and repaint the entire thing…..still waiting for this to happen.

Then, I have a pie shaped area at the end of my driveway.  This is underneath a tree, and now there are tons of smaller trees growing in the pie!!

Not to mention the front of the house which basically has nothing in the way of shrubs, flowers or anything!!

Whew!!  I’m tired just thinking about all of it… small step at a time…..

In addition, I’m considering whether or not to reopen my shop on Etsy.  Then, I heard about a shop called Artfire which seems to be a good investment, too….another dilemma….but, some small income from one of these would be a help…especially considering all that I need to do outside…

Too much on my mind for so early in the morning!!

But, as I was contemplating all of this last night, I realized that I never finished Lydia’s Christmas stocking (which I planned to have done last Christmas!)….So, this will be on the top of my list because I know that Cara will want this for the coming Christmas (and I do, too)…

So, this evening, the stocking will be coming back out.  It’s almost finished….just the rest of the outlining and putting it together.  But, me, being me, started other things before this was finished.

When am I going to learn–one project at a time?  Start a project, finish a project…this should be my motto….

See you tomorrow!!
