I was actually searching for a waffle weave dishcloth pattern–that’s all I was looking for.
I came across a site called “Wee Folk Art”, and I found instructions for a rainbow rag bowl!!
Now, I know that yesterday my new motto was “start a project, finish a project”–so this will have to go into the waiting list. But, I absolutely love this fabric bowl. I’m surrounded by neutral colors and a lot of wood, and this would be an absolute color splash in my living room:

Yes, this will have to wait……perhaps even until the winter when all the outside work is completed. But, definitely in my “to do” list!!
Moving on to this day:
Sat outside on the deck for my first cup of morning coffee, and the birds are extremely happy this morning!! They are all singing, chirping and calling to one another. The creek is moving along very lazily since we’ve had no rain for several days (thank You!).
Oh, did I tell you that I was almost skunked last week? I went outside for my coffee (as usual), and I heard movement through the growth close to my deck. I strolled over to investigate, and there was a skunk just meandering along!!
I stood very still because I’ve heard that is what you are supposed to do in these cases. Thankfully, he (or she) just kept on walking and didn’t pay the least bit of attention to me!!
I could just picture myself calling off work due to “being skunked”!!!
