Let’s spark a little interest here…..
I had a friend come to my home a few days ago. She needed to bring some books to me. As we were sitting there talking, she noticed the cross I have on my mantle. It is a wooden cross–given as a gift to me–in a “Pay It Forward”.
I was thinking about this…how much fun this was….walk out to the mailbox and there is a surprise waiting for me….and I thought I would try this again.
Here’s how it works:
If you’re interested in joining in, just leave a comment saying that you would like to join in. The first three people to comment will be my “giftees”. Be sure to tell me how I can get in contact with you!!
You are then “under contract” to post something–either on your blog or elsewhere–stating that you are doing this, and find three people for you to gift. Then, those three people must each find three people. You don’t need to even know the people…just a small gift from you to them out of love and kindness…..
You can be in contact with your “giftees” regarding color and anything else you would like to know regarding your gift to them. But, you cannot tell them what the gift is.
Your gift does not have to be handmade (though mine will). It could be something local to your area that the other person does not have access to….just about anything of interest!!
Remember, there is a three month time limit in sending your gifts from the time you find your three people.
If you’re interested or have questions, please sign up!! I’m waiting to send you something special.
I don’t know about you, but I’m excited!! How will it be to walk out to the mailbox and find something other than bills or junk?
May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing,
Dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
Saint Theresa’s Prayer
See you tomorrow!!
